What to Expect on Your First Visit

Preparing for your Appointment

Please review our Appointment Policies if you haven’t already.

If you don’t have an up-to-date list of your pet’s vaccinations and medications, please create or update it and plan to bring it with you.

To get a head start on our intake paperwork, you might want to download and complete this form.

Remember that for your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash. Prepare accordingly.

About your Appointment

Please plan to arrive a few minutes early so you can complete our intake process and be properly registered in our computer before the appointment is scheduled to begin.

You’ll be asked to provide your list of current vaccinations and medications during the intake process.

When your appointment begins, a veterinary assistant will take you and your pet to an examination room and gather statistics and vital signs.

Then the doctor will join you and the consultation will begin.
